Bylaser 5200 ARC - Features

The Bylaser 5200 ARC is a high performance laser with ARC beam optimization and state-of-the-art semiconductor control. This leads to outstanding performance characteristics.


High cutting performance

  • The integrated Adaptive Radius Control (ARC) provides automatic optimization of the beam diameter for all sheet metal thicknesses and materials as well as in the complete cutting range
  • The precise positioning control of the laser permits extremely fast changes in performance for microsteps, flying piercing and «scanning»
  • The high, controlled and hence constant output power ensures the efficient and clean cutting of all standard materials
  • When using thin sheet materials, accelerated piercing direct on the part contour creates a further time saving


High efficiency

  • Reduction in the manufacturing costs of prefabricated parts through the very high cutting performance
  • The synergies of all process-related core components (CNC, laser source and DCM semiconductor power supply with individually optimized discharge modules regulation) makes the innovative «scanning» possible (with up to 30% time saving)
  • The state-of-the-art, abrasion-free DCM 415 semiconductor power supply (without pentode tubes) guarantees minimum consumption of electricity and saves on maintenance costs


Process security

  • Constant beam quality and hence cutting quality, thanks to the newly developed high-performance optics in the resonator as well as within the beam guidance and through to the machine’s cutting head
  • Extended, less user-intensive operation thanks to improved process security


User friendliness

  • Extremely compact design
  • No additional control cabinets for the laser resonator, gas mix unit and power supply and hence less space is required
  • Operation and diagnostics using Laserview via the touch screen on the operating terminal
